The Dreamers

“Together nothing is impossible. Together nothing is forbidden.”

Paris is the setting, and Matthew (Michael Pitt), an American student, falls in with two fellow film enthusiasts, the brother and sister Theo (Louis Garrel) and Isabelle (Eva Green). They invite him to stay, and a casual friendship turns into a closed world of the three of them. Bernardo Bertolucci shuts the door behind them, and nothing is off limits, and the film is about how much a person will give up for a first love.
