The Dress

Van Tilt (Henri Garcin) is a man whose life is built around a single summer dress, and so is everyone else's who happens to touch it. Alex van Warmerdam follows the garment through a handful of hands, among them Chantalle (Ricky Koole) and the train conductor he plays himself. Each owner thinks the dress is only a small matter, and each finds out that someone else's happiness, or their own, is riding on it.
