The Driftless Area

“Destiny can lead to dangerous places.”

Pierre (Anton Yelchin), a bartender with a stubborn streak of optimism, comes back to his tiny hometown after his parents die. Zachary Sluser follows him as he falls for Stella (Zooey Deschanel), who is hard to read, and gets pulled into a chase over a duffel bag full of cash. A haphazard but determined criminal is after the money, and everyone's fate hangs on what happens to it.
