The DUFF

“You either know one, you have one, or you are one.”

Nobody told Bianca Piper (Mae Whitman) what the letters stood for until her neighbor, the football star Wesley Rush (Robbie Amell), spelled it out: her high school calls her the DUFF, the Designated Ugly Fat Friend. Ari Sandel sets her up against Madison Morgan (Bella Thorne), the school's mean girl, with Wesley as her unlikely coach. Bianca, who liked her small corner of the cafeteria, now has to decide how much of herself to change.
