Bianca Piper (Mae Whitman) finds out she's the DUFF, the Designated Ugly Fat Friend, to her prettier, more popular peers, a revelation that stings enough to set her on a mission. Wesley Rush (Robbie Amell), the high school's golden boy, offers to help her transform, turning her social reinvention into his unlikely project. By the end, Bianca has learned that being seen, really seen, matters far more than the label that once made her invisible.
