The Eagle Shooting Heroes

In the martial-arts world of Jin Yong's novels, a power struggle breaks out between the Queen's treasonous lover and Third Princess (Brigitte Lin Ching-hsia). Jeffrey Lau, working for producer Wong Kar-wai, fills it with musical numbers, slapstick duels and swordsmen who leap about on wires, with Huang Yaoshi (Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing) and Ouyang Feng (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) caught in the middle. Everyone fights hard, and no one stops joking.
