The Edge of Seventeen

“You're only young once… is it over yet?”

In a suburban high school, Nadine Franklin (Hailee Steinfeld) has one friend, Krista (Haley Lu Richardson), and a brother, Darian (Blake Jenner), she can barely stand. Then Krista starts dating Darian, and Nadine is left defending herself to her history teacher Mr. Bruner (Woody Harrelson). Kelly Fremon Craig makes her debut here, and the film stays with Nadine, a girl in a school hallway, watching her best friend walk away.
