The Edge of the Blade

In Paris in 1887, a fencing master named Clément Lacaze (Roschdy Zem) is pulled into a run of duels he cannot easily walk away from. Marie-Rose Astié de Valsayre (Doria Tillier), a feminist well ahead of her time, asks him to teach her the sword so she can defend her own honor. Vincent Perez directs, and the lessons turn the two into allies, each depending on the other to keep their name intact.
