“A best seller becomes a best picture !”

Bob MacDonald (Fred MacMurray) comes home and tells his new wife he has quit his city job and bought a run-down farm. Betty (Claudette Colbert) follows him out to a crumbling house, a stubborn pig and neighbors who never knock, while Bob plans his crops and livestock. Chester Erskine directs the move from town to country as a broad, good-natured comedy, with Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride as the Kettles next door.
