The Eiger Sanction

“HIS LIFELINE - held by the assassin he hunted.”

Who ordered the killing of his old friend is the question that pulls Jonathan Hemlock (Clint Eastwood) out of retirement. He teaches art history and collects paintings, but he was once an assassin for a secret government agency, and the agency now has the leverage to make him work again. Eastwood directs and stars, and in the mountaineer Ben Bowman (George Kennedy), Hemlock has a friend who knows exactly what he used to be.
