The Eight Mountains

Pietro Guasti (Luca Marinelli) is a boy from Turin who spends his summers in a remote Alpine village, where he meets Bruno (Cristiano Sassella), a local kid who herds cows and knows the mountain by heart. Felix van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch follow the two across four decades, as they drift apart and find each other again as men. Whatever else changes, the friendship stays the one thing each of them keeps returning to.
