The Electric Horseman

“He's a washed-up loser. But sometimes losers can be heroes...”

A $12 million racehorse walks out onto a Las Vegas stage under lights meant for a cereal commercial, and the man in the saddle, Sonny (Robert Redford), has just learned why it stands so still. Sydney Pollack sends him off into the desert on that horse, with a reporter, Hallie (Jane Fonda), on his trail for the story. Sonny has a head start, and if the company catches him first, he loses the horse.
