The Emerald Forest

“What kind of man would return year after year for ten years to rescue a missing boy from the most savage jungle in the world? His father.”

For ten years, the engineer Bill Markham (Powers Boothe) has kept looking for his son, who vanished as a small boy from the edge of the Brazilian rainforest. When he finally finds him, Tomme (Charley Boorman) has grown up among the Amazon tribe that took him in, and he does not seem to be waiting to be found. John Boorman sets a father and son against each other, each holding to the only life he has ever known.
