The Emigrant

In the ancient land of Canaan, Ram (Khaled El Nabawy) is tired of his family's superstitions and of being picked on by his brothers. He wants to study agriculture in Egypt, and they travel with him across Sinai, then sell him to an Egyptian named Ozir. Youssef Chahine follows Ram into Amihar's household, where the land he is granted and the favor he wins put him between the general and his wife, a high priestess of Amun.
