“The Star Wars saga continues.”

Darth Vader wants one man alive, and he has turned the Galactic Empire's full attention to finding him. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) goes looking for Yoda and a Jedi's training, while Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), and the droids run from the Empire toward Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams). Irvin Kershner lets the story darken as it goes, and Luke's training with Yoda sets the film's quiet center.
