The End of the Affair

“The end was just the beginning.”

Maurice Bendrix (Ralph Fiennes), a novelist in postwar London, has never stopped wanting Sarah (Julianne Moore), the woman who ended their affair two years ago without explaining why. One rainy night in 1946 he runs into her husband Henry (Stephen Rea), and the old obsession comes back hard. Neil Jordan follows Bendrix as he hires a man to trail her, jealous and unable to leave it alone.
