The End of the World

Frank Stoll (Olaf Fønss) owns a mine and speculates on the stock market, and he arrives in a small mining town to inspect the work. He meets Dina (Ebba Thomsen), the daughter of foreman West, and elopes with her against her father's will. August Blom follows Stoll as news of an approaching meteor sends the public into panic, and he sees only a chance to profit from the fear.
