The English Teacher

“Refuse to live life by the book.”

Linda Sinclair (Julianne Moore) has taught English in small-town Pennsylvania for years, and she wants her students to feel what she feels when she reads a great line. Then Jason Sherwood (Michael Angarano), her former star pupil, comes home after failing as a playwright in New York. Craig Zisk follows Linda as she gets his script onto the high school stage, with Carl, the long-suffering drama teacher, hauled in to help.
