The Entity

“There is no escape from something you cannot see.”

An invisible force keeps attacking Carla Moran (Barbara Hershey), a single mother in Los Angeles, inside her own home. Her psychiatrist, Phil Sneiderman (Ron Silver), traces it to childhood trauma, while Carla insists the cause is not in her head. Sidney J. Furie builds the film on that standoff, a woman who knows what is happening to her and a doctor who will not take her word for it.
