“What do you see when you look at me?”

Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) is trying to live quietly, and the closest he comes to company is the late-night regulars he knows by name. Then he meets Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), a young girl held under the thumb of violent Russian gangsters, and he can't walk away from her. Antoine Fuqua sets McCall against men led by Teddy (Marton Csokas), and what he risks is the calm life he worked so hard to build.
