The Equation of Love and Death

Li Mi (Zhou Xun) drives a cab in Kunming and has spent years waiting for her missing boyfriend to come back. A case of mistaken identity pulls her into a kidnapping and an extortion threat, and Cao Baoping lets the strands cross among Ma Bing (Deng Chao), Ye Qing Chen (Zhang Hanyu) and others. The film is about how long a person will hold on to a hope, and what she will do once it is finally within reach.
