The Eternal Daughter

“An exquisite ghost story.”

Julie (Tilda Swinton) is a filmmaker who takes her elderly mother, Rosalind (also Tilda Swinton), to stay at a hotel that was once the family home, hoping to mark her birthday and finally ask her about the past. Joanna Hogg sets the visit in a house that is half empty and unwelcoming, with a mysterious past of its own. Julie has only a few days to say what she has carried for years, and her mother may not be there much longer to hear it.
