The Evictors

“It was a small Louisiana town where people live and love and die and no one ever thought of locking their doors… except in the Monroe house.”

A string of unsolved homicides has haunted a house in a small Louisiana town, and nobody in the area can say who or why. In 1942, Ben (Michael Parks) and Ruth Watkins (Jessica Harper) buy the place, unaware of the killings on its property. Charles B. Pierce keeps Ruth at the center, alone in rooms where a stranger has begun to watch her.
