The Exchange Student

In 1967 France, school director Charles Bosquier (Louis de Funès) is furious when his son Philippe fails his exams, and decides the boy will spend the summer in England learning the language. The plan is an exchange with the whisky distiller Mac Farrell (Ferdy Mayne), whose daughter Shirley (Martine Kelly) will come to live with the Bosquiers. Jean Girault keeps de Funès at full volume, his face going red at the dinner table.
