The Executioner's Song

“The story of two people who fell in love.....and kept on falling.”

Why does a man who has just walked out of prison after a long stretch end up wanting to die? Gary Gilmore (Tommy Lee Jones) moves to Utah to start over, and soon he is tied up with Nicole Baker (Rosanna Arquette), a teenage single mother. Lawrence Schiller follows the two of them as their romance turns sour, with Nicole holding on to Gary long after the people around her can see what he is.
