The Experiment

“You are invited to participate”

Tarek Fahd (Moritz Bleibtreu), a journalist who senses a story behind a well-paid university ad, gets himself into the study as Prisoner Nr. 77. Twenty volunteers are split at random into prisoners and guards, and Professor Dr. Klaus Thon (Edgar Selge) is there to watch what aggression does in an artificial prison. Oliver Hirschbiegel keeps the camera inside the cells, where the game turns to bloody seriousness.
