The Experts

(1989)Directed by Dave Thomas94 min · PG-13Action, Comedy
“Two abducted Americans are going to tell the Russians everything they know. Poor Russia.”

Two broke New Yorkers, Travis (John Travolta) and Wendell (Arye Gross), take a job to open a nightclub in a small town in Nebraska. The KGB has actually flown them to the Soviet Union, to a replica town built to train spies. Dave Thomas keeps the two of them hired as experts on America, and Travis and Wendell look out for each other while neither suspects a thing.
