“They're not gigolos, they're gentlemen.”

Louis Ives (Paul Dano), an aspiring playwright, comes to New York hoping to find a life that finally fits him. He rents a room from Henry Harrison (Kevin Kline), who spends his evenings as an escort to wealthy widows on the Upper East Side. Directors Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini follow Louis as he takes Henry's lessons to heart and learns what it costs to become someone else.
