“You will discover that ghosts exist!”

Joey Cheng (Shu Qi) is pregnant, has survived several attempts on her own life, and now sees shadowy figures that follow her everywhere, with no explanation for why. She goes looking for her secretive ex-lover Sam (Jesdaporn Pholdee), who may know the cause of the dark world closing in on her. The Pang brothers, Oxide and Danny, keep the dread tightly wound around Joey, so the film feels as claustrophobic as she does.
