The Fabulous Baker Boys

“For 31 years it's been just the Fabulous Baker Boys... but times change.”

The Baker Boys' act is dying. Frank (Beau Bridges) and Jack (Jeff Bridges) have played two pianos side by side for years, and the lounge bookings keep thinning out. They audition singers to fix it, and Susie Diamond (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the one who walks in and stays. Steve Kloves keeps the two brothers at their pianos, Jack's cigarette burning down on the lid while Susie sings.
