The Fabulous World of Jules Verne

“Fantastic Pedal Blimps Fly The Skies! - Four-Footed Machines In Incredible Sea Battle!”

Šimon Hart (Lubor Tokoš), a young reporter, wants to find Professor Roche (Arnošt Navrátil) before a would-be dictator can put the man's work to use. Count Artigas (Miloslav Holub) has already carried the professor off and tricked him into building a super-bomb. Karel Zeman sets live actors inside animated scenes that copy the engravings from Verne's books, and Šimon and Jana (Jana Zatloukalová), a girl pulled from the sea, share the same desperate warning.
