“Based on Actual Events”

Mike Fletcher (John Cusack), a Buffalo cop, has spent years chasing a man who keeps abducting young women off the city's streets. Then his teenage daughter Abby (Mae Whitman) goes missing, and Morgan O'Neill follows him as he drops every bit of professional restraint to find her. Partner Kelsey Walker (Jennifer Carpenter) stays at his side, a colleague trying to hold the case together while he tears it apart.
