“These six students are about to discover their teachers really are from another planet.”

Casey (Elijah Wood) is a quiet sophomore at Herrington High, easy prey for the football players and ignored by almost everyone else. When the teachers start acting strangely, he and a handful of classmates, including Zeke (Josh Hartnett), begin to suspect that body-snatching aliens have taken their place. Robert Rodriguez keeps the students shut in with the people grading their papers, and nobody can tell who is still human.
