The Fall of the American Empire

“After the decline...”

Pierre-Paul Daoust (Alexandre Landry), a shy delivery driver in Montreal, walks into the aftermath of a robbery and leaves with two bags of cash hidden in his truck. Denys Arcand sets a hired escort and a recently released ex-biker around him, and money, and who gets to hold it, runs through every scene.
