The Falling

Lydia Lamont (Maisie Williams) is a student at a strict girls' school in England in 1969, and her whole world is her friendship with the fascinating Abbie. Then a sudden tragedy hits the school, and girls start fainting, first one, then many, with teachers like Miss Mantel (Greta Scacchi) unable to stop it. Carol Morley's story lets a whole building of grieving, frightened people come apart over the fainting epidemic that none of them can explain.
