“Feel The Love”

Meredith Morton (Sarah Jessica Parker) drives to the Stone family house for Christmas, a buttoned-up businesswoman about to meet the people her boyfriend Everett (Dermot Mulroney) grew up with. Thomas Bezucha puts her in a crowd that talks over one another and says exactly what it thinks, with Sybil (Diane Keaton) at the head of the table. Meredith wants the family to like her, and they have already decided she isn't one of them.
