Alice (Aurélia Poirier) and Thomas (Django Schrevens) live in a Belgian village where the villagers still gather each year to burn the straw effigy of winter. This year the spring does not come. Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth film the community as the cold holds on and its people grow desperate, the straw figure standing in the village's snow.
