The Fighting Fist of Shanghai Joe

“One Man Stands Alone In His Fight For Justice”

Shanghai Joe (Chen Lee) has come to America from China and wants only to make his way across a country that has no use for him. Mario Caiano sets his kung fu in dusty Western towns, where Joe faces Scalper Jack (Klaus Kinski) and Burying Sam (Gordon Mitchell) on behalf of Mexican slaves held by a cruel master. A stranger with no stake in their fight chooses to take it up anyway, and the film is plain about what that choice puts in front of him.
