The Fighting Temptations

“Don't fight the feeling.”

Darrin Hill (Cuba Gooding Jr.), a fast-talking New York ad man short on luck, heads back to his Georgia hometown to collect an inheritance from his late aunt. There is a condition: he has to build a choir for the local church before any money changes hands. Jonathan Lynn puts Lilly (Beyoncé) in the pews and Darrin in charge, and the film treats singing together as the thing that gets a town and a prodigal son back to each other.
