The Final Cut

Alan W. Hakman (Robin Williams) sits in a dim room with a dead man's recorded life playing in front of him, cutting away the cruelty and cowardice so the funeral crowd sees a decent person. His newest job is the memories of a powerful lawyer, and Fletcher (Jim Caviezel) wants them destroyed before anyone watches. Omar Naim builds a world where a life can be edited like film, and the question that follows is who is allowed to decide what a person was.
