The First Star

Jean-Gabriel (Lucien Jean-Baptiste) lives in Créteil with his wife and three children, picking up odd jobs and spending his afternoons at the PMU bar. To please his daughter, he promises the whole family a ski vacation, and he says it a little too fast. His wife has made her position clear: break the promise and she leaves, so Lucien Jean-Baptiste, directing himself, keeps the camera close on the household.
