The Five-Year Engagement

Tom Solomon (Jason Segel) proposes to Violet Barnes (Emily Blunt) exactly one year after they meet, and everyone around them assumes the wedding is a formality. Nicholas Stoller follows the couple as the date keeps slipping, with other people's plans and their own getting in the way of the aisle. It is a film about how long two people can wait for a life to start before the waiting becomes the life.
