The Florida Project

“Find your kingdom.”

Moonee (Brooklynn Prince) is six, and all she wants from the summer is to keep every day moving: a new game, a new dare, another trip somewhere with Scooty (Christopher Rivera) and Jancey (Valeria Cotto). They live at a budget motel in Kissimmee, Florida, down the road from Walt Disney World, where Moonee's mother Halley (Bria Vinaite) is trying to stay ahead of the rent. Sean Baker shows the children's wonder and the adults' worry in the same afternoon.
