The Flower of Evil

“Murder is a Family Affair.”

Anne Charpin-Vasseur (Nathalie Baye) belongs to a wealthy Bordeaux family and has decided to run for mayor. Then a political pamphlet turns up and drags an old murder scandal back into the open, and the three generations living around her get pulled into it. Claude Chabrol watches them at the family table while Anne goes on campaigning, trying to keep her own name clear of what the house has buried.
