The Flower of My Secret

“Every woman has a secret...”

Leo Macías (Marisa Paredes) writes romance novels under a pseudonym because she cannot stand them, and her husband is posted overseas, as far away in feeling as in distance. When she starts to question both her books and her marriage, an editor at a newspaper, Ángel (Juan Echanove), becomes an unexpected part of her days. Almodóvar fills the film with warm, saturated rooms and lets Leo sit alone in them.
