The Fly

“Be afraid. Be very afraid.”

Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) is an eccentric scientist who wants to prove that matter can be sent from one pod to another, and he gets there before anyone else does. When the journalist Veronica Quaife (Geena Davis) comes to write about him, he decides to test the machine on himself. David Cronenberg treats what follows as the story of a body that is, slowly and for good, no longer the person's own.
