Nader Saif al-Din (Mohamed Henedi) is a newspaper reporter in Egypt, and so is his rival Effat al-Sherbini (Hanan Turk), who competes with him for every story. Both uncover the truth behind a case, and the channel manager led by Fakhri Kamil (Lotfy Labib) refuses to run it, afraid of how the government will react.
