The Food of the Gods

“Welcome to the Bottom of the Food Chain!”

Morgan (Marjoe Gortner) and his friends go hunting on a remote Canadian island, where a swarm of giant wasps attacks them almost at once. Looking for help, Morgan finds a barn with an enormous chicken inside, and the island turns out to be crawling with animals grown far past their natural size. Bert I. Gordon, who wrote and directed, takes a loose piece of H.G. Wells and makes it a story of nature striking back at the people who walked in.
