“Love by design, Friendship by paint, Death by brush.”

Joshua (Josh Hutcherson) is a teenager spending time in a picturesque village, and what he finds there is not what he expected. Lawrence Roeck sends him toward an underground world of art forgery, where Amber (Hayden Panettiere) and Everly (Alfred Molina) move in the same circle. Joshua is young, new to all of it, and the people around him know exactly what they are teaching him.
