The Forgotten Battle

“In the final years of World War II, the lives of a traitor, a pilot, and a resistance fighter become intertwined as they fight to survive.”

In 1944, the Battle of the Scheldt pulls three young people into the same stretch of Zeeland. Marinus van Staveren (Gijs Blom) is a Dutchman fighting for the Axis, William Sinclair (Jamie Flatters) is a British glider pilot, and Teuntje Visser (Susan Radder) is a reluctant Resistance recruit. Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. follows their paths as they cross, and the war here is a fight none of them chose.
