The Forty-Year-Old Version

“Find your own voice.”

Radha (Radha Blank) once made a 30 Under 30 list, and now, days from forty, she teaches theater to teenagers in New York and has nothing on a stage. Late at night she starts rapping over beats from D (Oswin Benjamin), a producer who lets her try out a voice she hasn't used before. Blank directs her own debut, and it comes down to a writer deciding she no longer has to wait for anyone's approval to say what she means.
